Our group is involved in a variety of different mosquito surveillance and monitoring projects which have been conducted over a number of years. These projects include the Riverland mosquito monitoring program and the Urban Wetland Monitoring Program.
In addition to these surveillance projects, the group is also involved in citizen science, primarily through Mozzie Monitors, a programme that uses citizen scientists as a novel way to monitor urban mosquito populations. Although recently we have also expanded to include Activating Citizen Scientists, a programme aimed at engaging older members of the South Australian community in citizen science.
